My Weight Loss Progress


This is my weight loss progress page.  My new goal is to lose 29 pounds by April 2 and lose my belly flab so I look even better than I do right now when I get on that airplane to Idaho for my “girl vacation.”  I’m already down 4 pounds as you can see from the ticker above so now I have even MORE motivation to keep going….cause I’m pretty sure I’ve hit a plateau of sorts cause my weight hasn’t changed very much in the last couple of weeks.  My weigh in day will be on Wednesday mornings so please keep checking back.  I need all the support I can get.

10/9/08 – Weighed in at 157.5 pounds

10/16/08 – Weighed in at 157 pounds.  Think it’s time for a new scale also.  Knew there was something up when my scale told me I was 140 pounds this morning.  So going scale shopping today too.  Oh, and I bought my first pair of 7/8 (I’ve finally hit the single digit pant sizes! You can’t see this but I’m doing a Happy Dance!) jeans.  On top of that I’m in a MEDIUM!  I haven’t been in a medium in ANYTHING for many many years!

10/23/08 – Weighed in at 158.5.  I’ll be honest I thought it was going to be worse.  We kind of had a party for our boss who was leaving that turned into a two day party….complete with cookies, cake, cupcakes and energy drinks.

10/29/2008 – Weighed in at 160 pounds.  I’m not real surprised by the gain with all the stress and other crap I’ve been dealing with for the past week.  Going to keep my chin up and keep pushing on.  I’ve truely found out who my friends are and I can honestly say I won’t miss the stress and all the other stuff that came with being friends with a person I just could not make happy.

11/5/2008 – Weighed in at 157.5 pounds today!  I’m super happy to have lost this week instead of gained!

11/12/2008 – Weighed in at 157 pounds.  A lose is a lose and I’m happy with it.  Only 22 more pounds to go!

11/19/2008 – Weighed in at 157 pounds.  No change from last week…Which I guess is a great thing.  I can already tell it’s going to be rough going into the holiday season….my mom has already started baking our favorite cookies and treats already and they keep “calling me.”  Mind over matter I guess it’s going to come down to.

11/26/08 – 158. Not happy about it but I’ll live.  Just have to work harder at achieveing my goals I guess.

    I am in desperate need to lose weight…primarily to stay away from possible health issues, and it is HARD and it SUCKS!!

    But I am doing it! I started Jazzercise a few weeks ago and it is kicking my butt!!

    I will definitely encourage you…and you definitely need to look HOT on your girl’s vacation.

    Yup it totally is hard and it totally does suck. I’ve been letting myself go since my senior year of high school so I fel that it was time to change some of my habits. I’m already down 6.5 pounds since the 29th of August…..so it can be done. Oh and yes I do need to look HOT for my girl vacation!

  3. I’ve been trying to lose the same 10 pounds for 4 months. I think I need to change up something…perhaps more exercise. My fingers get alot being on blogs and all. HA I hope you reach your goal.

  5. Well done! You’re doing really well, and your goal is so achievable. I want to lose about 28lbs before I go on holiday in May, and like you, I’m struggling to shift the weight at the moment. However, I’m reminding myself constantly how much happier I’ll be, getting on that plane with smaller sized clothes on!
